Aspects Festival

Hello AND welcome!

We are delighted to welcome you to Aspects Festival 2023. We have an eclectic mix of events for you this year, from memoir to poetry, history to prose.

Whatever your interest, there are events that will challenge, teach and entertain.

We are thrilled that the Clandeboye Reading party is back with the theme of Childhood, for one day only. A unique project bringing together a wonderful partnership between Clandeboye Estate, Queen's University Belfast, Trinity College Dublin and Aspects Festival.

Festival highlights include three fascinating memoirs from Judith Mok, Bill Whelan and Mary Peters who will all join us to discuss their books and take us on their journey. There is a Festival Club, Book Club and Poetry Slam along with music and workshops.

The Festival will have events all over Bangor, using beautiful and interesting spaces to celebrate writing from the Island of Ireland.

This year's Young Aspects events will take place in Spring 2024. Be sure to keep an eye out for details of these events on our website.

We hope you enjoy exploring our programme and we look forward to seeing you at the Festival.
