Aspects Festival returns for its 30th year to continue its role in showcasing superb writing talent from all over the island of Ireland.
Kicking off on Friday 24 September, the Festival will once again host live readings and conversations in outstanding venues such as Bangor Castle, Bangor Abbey and Clandeboye Estate.
Highlights this year include conversations with Fergal Keane, along with Monica McWilliams and Susan McKay both discussing recent and upcoming publications. Colin Bateman reads from his new memoir, written during lockdown and acclaimed writers Evelyn Conlon and Éilís Ní Dhuibhne share short stories.
Aspects 2021 will venture outdoors to offer a series of workshops and creative experiences, maximising the natural beauty and stunning locations on offer in Ards and North Down.
Festival Director, Patricia Hamilton is delighted to be back, ‘We are looking forward to celebrating Aspects in its 30th year and to bring people together to enjoy lively discussion, new perspectives and to soak up the intimate atmosphere the Festival is renowned for.'
