A new exhibition of abstract paintings by Pauline Little, inspired by the poetry of Michael Longley.
Through 25 vibrant works arranged by season and year, the exhibition explores how climate change is subtly altering the rhythms of nature. Colours once unique to spring or summer now extend into autumn, reflecting a quiet but visible transformation in the environment.
Rooted in personal observation, from the artist’s garden to the local landscape, the paintings echo Longley’s attention to everyday beauty and deeper emotional undercurrents. Presented unframed with white edges, the works invite immersive viewing and direct engagement with colour and form.
Blurring Seasons is both a celebration of the natural world and a reflection on how it is gradually, and unmistakably, changing.
Exhibition Launch Event: Thursday 4 September, 7pm–9pm. All are welcome to attend. Please register your attendance HERE
The exhibition will also feature in Late Night Art Bangor on Thursday 25 September, 6pm–9pm.
