Join Nuala McKeever as she hosts this year’s Aspects Book Club.

Our chosen books are Donal Ryan’s new book heart, be at peace published in August 2024. Our second featured book is the Number 1 Irish Times bestseller and Irish Book Awards Biography of the Year by Katriona O’Sullivan, Poor.

Discussing the books will be writers Tara West and Fionola Meredith.

Tara West is a Northern Irish writer who has written two novels, a memoir, short stories and radio dramas. Tara teaches on the MA English (Creative Writing) and the BA English with Creative Writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queens University Belfast.

Fionola Meredith is a writer, broadcaster and commentator. She is a long- established contributor to the Irish Times, BBC Northern Ireland and writes a weekly opinion column in the Belfast Telegraph. Fionola published her debut novel The Stamp of Duty in 2023.
