Are you interested in poetry? Speak a few words of another language, or would like to? Do you have that feeling that it’s really all about rhythm? Then this workshop is for you.

In this workshop with experienced translator and poet Keith Payne, we'll start by listening and listening again and trusting what our gut tells us, and you’ll learn to trust that inner ear. Absolutely no previous experience is necessary – just a pen, your ear and instinct. This workshop is perfect for those who wish to deepen their engagement with poetry as much as those with some experience in translating.

We especially welcome members of the community whose first language is not English. Suitable for all levels, from complete beginners to experienced translators.
